Get to know our therapeutic process

My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. My role is to help you uncover your strengths and navigate challenges with curiosity, compassion, and confidence. 

Together, we will learn and unlearn. Your full spectrum of emotions are welcome in session. We can cry, laugh, play, get angry, grieve, celebrate, and ride the wild wave of life together! My goal is to support you in deepening your connection with your beautifully imperfect, authentic self.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem issues, addictions, and relationship difficulties. I work with individuals in their twenties and beyond, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals.

I believe trauma takes many forms—whether it’s a significant event or more subtle, ongoing stressors—that affect us in different ways. No matter what you’re facing, your feelings, somatic responses, and experiences are valid. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to heal, explore, and develop the tools to create a more fulfilling life.

I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Polyvagal Theory, as well as integrative practices in nervous system regulation, parts work, Reiki, and trauma-informed mindfulness.

Together, we’ll focus on creating lasting change, promoting your emotional, physical, and mental well-being, and guiding you toward a more balanced and empowered life.

Polyvagal Theory

Polyvagal Theory helps us understand how your nervous system affects your emotions and reactions, which is crucial for effective therapy. Our approach leverages this insight to show you how different states of your body—whether you feel safe, threatened, or overwhelmed—impact your responses to stress. By fostering a greater sense of safety and emotional regulation, we work to help you align more authentically with your true self. This enhanced alignment not only supports emotional well-being but also empowers you to manifest the life you envision. In our sessions, we'll use these insights to create a supportive environment where you can explore, heal, and move towards living a more fulfilling and authentic life.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful tool that complements this process by addressing and transforming limiting beliefs. EMDR helps to clear out negative or unhelpful beliefs rooted in past experiences, allowing you to replace them with adaptive, positive beliefs. This process supports you in rediscovering your true essence and strengthens your confidence in your ability to create the life you desire. Through EMDR, you can break free from past constraints and move forward with a renewed sense of empowerment and clarity.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is another key component of our therapeutic approach. CBT focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back. By working together to reframe these thoughts and develop healthier, more constructive habits, we aim to promote lasting change in how you perceive and respond to various situations.
